- Date (xx/xx/xxxx – Purchased Estes #2159 Fireflash for $x.xx (Retail $.).
- 01/28/2001 – Opened package and found all parts. Cut a 1/8″ slot 2-1/2″ from aft end of motor tube. Tied the shock cord to the black plastic tube coupler with launch lug. Inserted engine mount into black plastic fin unit and glued top centering ring in place. Glued the gray body tube to the centering ring with yellow glue and to the fin unit was cemented to the same body tube. Glued the black tube coupler with the launch lug to the upp nd of the gray body tube keeping the launch lug aligned . Added clay to the red nose cone and then cmented a black BT-9 to it. Tied shock cord to tube adapter and cemented the smaller end into the BT-9 tube. Cemented the fins to the fin can unit.
- 01/29/2001 – Attached self adhesive decals. This completes construction of Estes #2159 Fireflash model rocket.
