Estes Gold Strike is a series E2X model rocket that comes with the bonus Silver Strike model rocket. This kit is easy to assemble. A nice looking durable model for flight after flight.

Build History
- 04/29/2010 – Purchased Estes Gold Strike from Hobby Lobby for $9.59 (Retail $15.99)
- 05/18/2010 – Took pictures of package and components. Cut slit in body tube 2″ from aft end and placed launch lug pieces in hole. Epoxied launch lug to body tube in the slits. Assembled fin can with 5 minute epoxy.
- 05/20/2010 – Glued fins in place and glued fin can onto body tube.
- 05/21/2010 – Cut out shock cord mount and glued shock cord into mount and then inside of body tube. Removed self adhesive decals from backing and placed onto model. This completes construction of Estes Gold Strike Model # 2430.
