Build History

• 01/28/2020 – Purchased Estes Solo from Hobby Lobby in Columbus, IN for $8.39 (Retail $13.99).
• 02/20/2020 – Took pictures of package and components. Scanned components. Measured 1-1/2″ from rear of main body tube and parked launch lug. Cut holes so it fit flush onto body tube. Cemented fin can halves together and applied reinforcement decal over launch lug after cementing it to body tube. Cut glider from index stock and taped it to glider ring. Cemented noce cone ase to nose cone. Pushed fins into fin slots of fin can and slid them forward to fit. Made copy of page 1 and cut out shock cord mount. Glued shock cord to mount and inside end of body tube 2″. Applied decal. This completes construction of Estes Solo model rocket #7288.
