This is the Prowler Model Rocket Launch Set from the Pro Series II by Estes.

We just made the “big boy” toys easier than ever! Now available in our Easy to Assemble format, the Prowler is the only rocket in the new E2X series that comes with a complete launch system! We’ve included the ever popular E Launch Controller and the Porta-Pad E launch base to launch the Prowler and can also be used to launch all the Pro Series II rockets.

And the Prowler is hot pink and black, how COOL is that!

Build History

• 08/22/2018 –Purchased Estes Prowler Pro Series II from Estes for $39.99 (Retail $39.99).
• 11/15/2018 – Took pictures of package and components. Scanned some components. Measurements are on Page 32 book #4.
• 10/24/2019 – Glued fin halves with CA. Epoxied centering rings onto motor mount tube.
• 10/25/2019 – Epoxied motor mount assembly into aft end of body tube, lining up centering ring slots with body tube slots. Epoxied fins into body tube slots and centering ring slots. Filleted fin joints. Placed shock cord into mount and epoxied into forward end of body tube by at least 2″.
• 10/26/2019 – Welded engine retainer onto aft end of motor mount tube with HFT Epoxy Super Weld. Applied self adhesive decals. Tied shock cord to nose cone. Epoxied launch lug to body tube at 1/2″ and 13″ from aft end. This completes construction of Estes Prowler Pro Series II mid power rocket #9710.
