Launched with an Estes D12-5 engine (sold separately), the Explorer Aquarius can fly higher than 700 feet! You’ll want to proudly display this show piece when it’s not on the launch pad, so we’ve included a removable plastic display engine nozzle for the complete effect.

  • 01/03/2019 – Purchased Estes Explorer Aquarius from Scale Reproductions, Inc. in Louisville, KY for $22.00 (Retail $38.99). This purchase was made to replace the lost nose cone that occurred on September 9, 2012 at Anderson Dean Community Park.
  • 01/04/2019 – Took pictures of package and components
  • 01/05/2019 – Scanned instructions.
  • 01/31/2019 – Replacement Nose Cone decals cut out from decal sheet for application to replacement nose cone. Applied decals to nose cone.
  • 02/01/2019 – Painted spot on nose cone using Pactra A46 Flatblack acrylic enamel with paintbrush.
  • 02/02/2019 – Sprayed decal setting on nose cone. This finishes repair of Estes Explorer Aquarius #7253 nose cone.
