Build History
- 10/21/1999 – Purchased Quest Tracer from HobbyLinc for $5.33 (Retail $7.29).
- 02/25/2000 – Opened kit. Glued base to plastic nose cone. Cut a 1/8″ slit into engine tube at the mark made using the engine tube block width. Glued engine mount adapter ring 1/2″ from rear of tube where the engine block overhangs. Tied Kevlar and elastic cord together 1″ from end. Tied a knot in the other end and put it through the other adapter ring gluing the ring to the engine mount tube. Filleted the ring and glued engine mount assembly into body tube. Attached fin assembly and nose cone to end of elastic shock cord.
- 03/05/2000 – Removed self adhesive decal and applied to the model. this completes Quest Tracer model rocket #1005.
