Build History
- 08/15/2002 – Purchased Estes #2060 Bandit from Rocket Gals for $8.75 (Retail $13.49).
- 09/22/2002 – Opened kit. Took pictures and scanned in stuff. Cemented front and back engine rings onto engine tube. Cemented engine mount section with launch lug openings to tabs and rings. Cemented them into place. Cemented mount into black body tube. It was difficult aligning all three fin slots and the two launch lugs up with the body tube holes. Cemented them in place after aligning as best as possible. Held the fin unit in place until glue dried. Cemented launch lugs in place. Cemented the shock cord mount to the body tube and then tied a knot in one end and pulled it tight. Tied the other end of shock cord to nose cone. Applied self adhesive decals. This completes construction of Estes Bandit model rocket #2060.
