This is a Starter Set that includes the Stars & Stripes E2X Series rocket with streamer recovery, two B6-4 motors, igniters and wadding. Also included is a launch pad, controller, special USA decal and complete instructions for the rocket and launch pad and controller.

Build History

• 11/20/2001 – Purchased Estes Stars & Stripes Starter Set from Walmart in Seymour, IN for $16.96 (Retail #29.99)
• 11/21/2001 – Opened kit. All parts contained in kit. Scanned in decals, streamer and plans. Cemented two plastic fin/motor mounts together. Cemented body tube to Unit . Glued launch lug to body tube 4″ from rear of body tube. Glued shock cord to mount and inside of forward end of body tube at least 2″. Filleted launch lug joints.
• 11/22/2001 – Attached 3″ x 17″ flag streamer 1″ from end of nose cone with scotch tape to shock cord. Decal sheet measures 5-1/4″ x 10-1/2″. Cut out self adhesive decals and applied to model. This completes construction of Estes Stars & Stripes model rocket set.
