  • 04/07/2000 – Opened kit. Modified plastic tube coupler by drilling a 3/32″ hole into it to attach the shock cord screw eye combination instead of the end piece provided. Will use the end piece on another kit. Secured screw eye with plastic cement. Made slit for engine retainer. Glued long body tube to fin can. Attached nose cone to short tube. Attached Kevlar cord around engine block and glued to motor mount assembly before it was glued to the fin assembly. The shock cord was tied to the other end of the Kevlar cord.
  • 04/08/2000 – Wrapped the tube coupler with tape and marked 1/2″ from main body tube end. Glued other end into upper payload tube. Attached shock cord to eye screw. Marked and glued launch lug to body tube.
