Description
Starter kit includes everything you need to get off and flying. This kit includes a sturdy launch pad, launch controller, recovery system and wadding, 3 model rocket motors, 3 model rocket igniters, a reusable range box, and much more. You do not need anything else except for 4 AA batteries to fly this rocket. This is a beginner rocket kit that has a 14 inch long rocket that is .787 inches in diameter. The maximum altitude of this rocket is 600ft. This rocket has a steamer recovery system. You may us a A6-4 motor in this rocket.

- 09/05/2000 – Purchased Quest Skybolt from eHobbies for $16.99 (Retail $24.99)
- 09/27/2000 – Opened kit. Cemented nose cone to base. Tied yellow Kevlar shock cord and White elastic shock cord together. Tied the other end of yellow Kevlar shock cord to the engine block. Glued blue engine thrust ring even with the forward end of the yellow motor mount tube. Cemented the end of the yellow engine mount tube opposite the blue thrust ting into the black plastic fin unit with plastic cement. Glued purple body tube to motor mount/fin assembly. Attached self adhesive gripper to streamer and then attached streamer to shock cord by placing the shock cord thru the hole in the gripper/streamer. Streamer is free to move along he shock cord. Tied the nose cone to the free end of the white elastic cord. Will apply decal after scanning it into computer.
